New Mexico’s Patterson Ranch

Overview

The Patterson Ranch is 10,000 deeded acres south of Santa Rosa, NM. As this is a new lease, we have very few pics to show you at this time. However, my friend Chris Betsworth and I hunted deer on the place in early November. We were impressed enough to to enter into an agreement for the deer, antelope, and quail hunting rights on the ranch beginning in 2020. The Patterson is located NE of Lake Sumner between Santa Rosa and Ft. Sumner, NM. A good mule deer on this ranch will be 150-170. A good antelope will be 75-80+.

This ranch will be limited to a 4 hunters maximum on both antelope and mule deer. This ranch up in the special Deer Incentive program and Special PCRP Antelope programs offered by NM Game and Fish. We prefer to hunt antelope mid to late September or early October during the rut. We prefer to hunt rife deer early-mid Dec and archery deer January 1 to be in the rut.

Accommodations included will be the Best Western in Santa Rosa with meals provided at the motel in the AM, lunch on the ranch, and dinner at Santa Rosa restaurants.
