New Mexico’s Lobo Ranch

Overview

JFWRC secured the bull elk hunting rights on this 46,000 deeded acre ranch, 1 hour west of Albuquerque, in early 2012. The Lobo is hunted ultra conservative. With over 27 mature bull, 14 archery, and 32 cow landowner authorizations issued, we will only hunt 7 bulls and 5 cows, in 2017. We have a seven day fully outfitted archery hunts starting Sept. 1st  and five day fully outfitted rifle/muzzy hunts starting October 1 and October 15 respectively. We also like to hunt a couple of bulls in November or December as some fine trophies show up in the lower areas that we have not seen during the other months. Bear and lion can be hunted during the elk hunt time frames for a $2,000 trophy fee. You just have to buy your bear or lion license prior to the hunt! If one of these animals presents itself and if you have the inclination to harvest, it is yours. If you want to pass, your call. We do run into bear from time to time while hunting bulls. The accommodations on this ranch are first class. Multi course meals are prepared by a professional chef, during the bull hunts. Call us at 505-294-7861 to reserve your spots on this awesome hunting ranch. NM Gross Receipts tax will be added to the above cost. State license fees are not included in the package. Airport transport is included if needed.

We have lots of Lobo Ranch photos for your to view. Shoot us an e-mail and we will email them right to you or go to lobo-ranch.com.
